Design story
Yakuza was born from the story of those we cannot call winners or losers, strong or weak, right or wrong... A design that carries their spirit even though it is not as ornate as their first forms in history, a playing card on the front of the ecru colored sweatshirt, and the yakuza of the period with a sword in his hand on the back! It captures a modern style with its Loose Fit pattern.
YAKUZA was a name created by thousands. It was the product of a subculture that reached the world from Japan, rooted in the card game Oichu Kabu. Ya Ku Za, which means 893 in Japanese, meant uselessness and loss for those who played.
Kabukimonos, who were considered the gangs of that period, with their strange, flamboyant clothes, gave themselves the name "loser" together with the people with the influence of this game they played. This community, which we know as YAKUZA and has existed for hundreds of years, would call themselves 1 less than society. These gangs, who did things like usury and gambling, ironically defined themselves as dispensers of justice at the same time.
