Our product is rhodium-plated over free nickel. It is anti-allergenic. The stones are zirconia. It does not tarnish upon contact with water. It is resistant up to 90% against sea water, pool, Turkish baths, and showers. It should be kept away from perfumes and disinfectants.
What is Rhodium? Rhodium is a noble metal though you’ve probably never heard of it.
And we know why: It’s one of the rarest and most expensive metals in the world. In fact, it's five times more expensive than gold. Rhodium is one of six metals in the platinum group, and it is not mined on its own, it is obtained as a byproduct of platinum mining. Naturally white-silver in color, rhodium has a highly reflective surface. This precious metal is extremely hard and durable. It is resistant to air and water up to 600 °C, and does not dissolve in acid. That’s why we love rhodium and why we use it to plate our jewelry. We plate our pieces with rhodium to protect them against tarnishing, discoloration, and scratches.
